I am glad to have my son, ice skating. I was a skate competition for about 7 years and seen children on the ice from the time they could go.

I wanted to wait personally to 3 years. While children often have a fairly clear idea of balance and will probably feel a little less frustrated.
I know a girl who was skating on the ice in 2 1 started at / 2 He has some developmental disabilities and some physical limitations, but what your mother told me, not really better on skates on foot.
Probably depends on each child.
