Does drinking coffee affect or increase the painful effects of gouty arthritis? - gouty arthritis more condition_symptom
Caffeine is good for pain. There is caffeine in Excedrin, and Anacin pain relievers. Have you tried Aleve or Advil?
If these do not work, get something a little stronger than your doctor.
God bless you and good luck! :)

I would say that since the caffeic acid can increase the pain. My understanding is that the pain of gout is due to an overload of acid in the body and impact on the joints. www.supplements2health.com
